What is Chiropody?
State registered chiropodists are the foot-health professionals. They have undertaken a three-year
full time course. They can treat many conditions, for example:
- rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
- peripheral vascular disease
- diabetes mellitus
- in-growing toenails
- rams horn nails
- backache and walking difficulties
- verrucae
- corns and bunions
- hammer toes
More advanced procedures undertaken include total and partial nail avulsions, biochemical
